Thieves make away with Sabrina Ionescu‘s handbags worth $60k during burglary.
WNBA superstar Sabrina Ionescu has had her Los Angeles home broken into. The thieves did not steal trophies. They did not steal sneakers. They did not steal game film. No. They went straight for the handbags. And not just any handbags. We are talking about luxury bags worth around $60k.
That’s not a robbery. That’s a fashion heist.
The LAPD tells us they responded to Ionescu’s home in the Los Angeles area around 8 PM for a burglary investigation, after two suspects used an unknown tool to smash the glass of the rear door of the property, according to investigators.
It was too late when the LAPD got to the crime scene.
The thieves then made entry, “ransacked the location and took the victim’s property.” They ultimately fled in a vehicle in an unknown direction.
Neither Sabrina nor her husband, Hroniss Grasu, was home at the time.
While cops didn’t specify what exactly was taken, NBC LA, which was first to report the break-in, reports they ran off with several handbags worth more than $60,000.
Hopefully the bags are recovered. Hopefully the thieves are caught. And hopefully Sabrina keeps doing what she does best. Dropping buckets. Breaking ankles. And reminding everyone that even when life steals from you, you can still bounce back.
