Fans are trashing the NCAA over Carson Beck revelation that he graduated from college two years ago.
The University of Miami just got served a reality check, and the NCAA is the one getting roasted for allowing him to play for six seasons. Fans are dragging the whole organization after Miami quarterback Carson Beck revealed he graduated two years ago. Yes, two years. Not one. Not “close enough.” Two full years. And somehow, people are acting like this is the biggest scandal since the invention of redshirt rules.
The definition of ‘student athlete’ was stretched further on Sunday when University of Miami quarterback Carson Beck was asked about attending classes before Monday’s national championship against Indiana.
‘No class,’ the 23-year-old said. ‘I graduated two years ago.’
In fact, Beck didn’t even graduate from Miami, but rather Georgia, where he started his NCAA career in 2020.
And this is how fans felt following the revelation.
College football is being RUINED!
Carson Beck says he doesn’t have class because he “graduated two years ago.”
If you are not a college student, you should not be playing college football.

‘So uhhh…what are we even doing here, guys?’ one fan asked on X. ‘This whole ‘college’ football thing gets weirder and weirder by the day.’
‘Just come up with gimmicks to stay in school,’ another added. ‘A sham.’
Beck earned a reported $4 million from endorsement deals in 2025, which is more than all but a handful of NFL rookies.
Now in his sixth season of college football after redshirting and receiving the NCAA’s COVID-19 blanket waiver in 2020, Beck is finally entering his final college football game on Monday.
He was only 17 when he enrolled at Georgia. Just a kid, completely unaware of what the next six years would bring. Had no idea he’d become a lightning rod for criticism. Had no idea his elbow would need to be surgically rebuilt. Had no idea that every start, every pass, every mistake, everything he did was going to be scrutinized.
His college career ends Monday night. He can get the last laugh.
So yes, the NCAA is being dragged. Fans are mad. Social media is wild. But the real takeaway is this: Carson Beck graduated. Two years ago. And somehow, that’s not okay with fans.
Congrats, Carson. You just caused chaos by playing six seasons.
