Swiss international Alisha Lehmann, frequently described as the world’s sexiest footballer, has gone public with a new relationship with Montel McKenzie, a reality television personality known for appearing on the U.K. show “Love Island.”
The couple announced their romance on social media around Lehmann’s 27th birthday on Jan. 21. Lehmann posted a series of photos on Instagram, including one featuring McKenzie, with the caption: “A year full of love, family, friends and all the beautiful people in my life. Thank you for making me strong and showing me that life is worth it all.” McKenzie reciprocated by sharing a carousel of photos and videos of the pair, accompanied by affectionate messages confirming the relationship.
Reports indicate the romance was already known in their inner circles. A source told The Sun that McKenzie had visited Lehmann’s apartment in Como, Italy, on several occasions prior to the public confirmation.
Career Move Coincides With Personal News
Lehmann, who turned 27 on Jan. 21, signed with Leicester City Women in the Women’s Super League on Jan. 22. The move marks her return to English soccer after previous spells with Aston Villa (where she scored nine goals in 58 appearances), Everton and West Ham United. She has earned 65 caps and scored 10 goals for Switzerland’s national team.
Upon joining Leicester City, Lehmann said: “I feel amazing and I’m very happy to be here. It’s like coming home, like coming back to England.”
The news follows reports of Lehmann’s split from former Aston Villa and current Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz, with whom she had an on-and-off relationship that ended around 2025.
McKenzie, also involved in the Baller League, and Lehmann have drawn significant online attention since confirming their romance via Instagram.
