Drake Maye Appreciates His Wife Ann Michael Ahead Of The Super Bowl

Drake Maye is getting ready for the biggest game of his life. The Super Bowl. Bright lights, massive pressure and millions watching. And ahead of that chaos, he decided to do something very bold. He praised his wife!

Ahead of the Super Bowl, Drake Maye took time to appreciate his wife, Ann Michael, calling her support priceless and saying marrying her was one of the best decisions he’s ever made. Romantic? Yes. Strategic? Also yes. Because nothing says “locked in quarterback” like publicly crediting your spouse ahead of Super Bowl.

He said: ‘Getting married was one of the best decisions I made in my life. I think of my wife and from that day they say good things happen when you get married, and I think that’s the case so far in my life.

‘What a blessing it has been to have Ann Michael and know to come home to someone who cares about my day and able to hear something outside of football, listen to what she’s done today and just knowing there is a constant in my life and that’s my wife.

‘Every day I come home to somebody that’s herself, cares about me for who I am off the field and there are just so many things that marriage has helped me with.

‘I think just this year, just living with my wife, really being the first woman I’ve ever lived with besides my mom. Knowing how much that changes how I have to pick up after myself, take care of my things in the house.

‘She’s the boss but at the same time it’s been awesome to have her cook meals so I don’t have to worry about scrambling to find dinner when I come home late at night – she’s got it ready. Don’t take that for granted. I know how special she is to my career and in my life.’

Drake didn’t talk about stats, he didn’t hype himself up, he didn’t guarantee a win, he just acknowledged that marrying Ann Michael was one of his smartest moves and considering NFL decisions are usually made under pressure, that’s saying a lot.

Now the question is simple. Will the good vibes translate on the field?

Maybe, maybe not. Football is weird like that.

But one thing is clear, win or lose, Drake Maye is already winning at home. And heading into the Super Bowl with love, support, and a happy marriage might be the most underrated game plan of all.
