“I want to win a championship with the Milwaukee Bucks. And if that’s not on the table or in the plans…so that’s when you like, maybe I got to pivot, because I really want to win,” Giannis Antetokounmpo said in an interview with ESPN.
There’s a huge chance that the Milwaukee Bucks will miss the playoffs this season. For Giannis Antetokounmpo, that counts as a wasted year. He’s still one of the league’s best, and not making the postseason is a huge no-no at this stage of his career.
And the Bucks know that they are on a strict timeline to compete. The team needs another bona fide star on the team to help Antetokounmpo on a nightly basis.
