Parker Kingston, BYU Wide Receiver, Arrested on a Felony Rape Charge

According to a report from ESPN’s Kyle Bonagura, the Washington County (Utah) Attorney’s Office said Wednesday that BYU wide receiver Parker Kingston has been charged with one count of first-degree felony rape and is being held without bond.

Kingston, who was the team’s top receiver the previous season, is a native of Utah and has played for the Cougars for four seasons. Following an inquiry into a 20-year-old woman’s accusation of a sexual assault in February 2025, he was placed under arrest.

In a statement sent through Bonagura, the Cougars said:

“BYU became aware today of the arrest of Parker Kingston,” “The university takes any allegation very seriously, and will cooperate with law enforcement. Due to federal and university privacy laws and practices for students, the university will not be able to provide additional comment.”

Kingston’s court date is set for this Friday. Kingston showed up on the scoreboard during Saturday’s BYU men’s basketball game with his alleged fiancée, according to Curtis Booker and Sean Walker of KSL-TV in Salt Lake City.
