After one of the most spectacular scoring efforts in NBA history, Bam Adebayo had one crucial post-game task: he praised his WNBA superstar girlfriend, A’ja Wilson, naming her his inspiration!
Kobe Bryant, who famously scored 81 points in 2006, was surpassed by the Miami Heat big man, who put on a display at the Kaseya Center and recorded the second-highest-scoring game in NBA history.
Adebayo had a memorable time with Wilson, his girlfriend, following the Heat’s 150-129 victory over the Wizards. He even took her to his post-game news conference, where he said some touching things about his woman.
Adebayo stated:
“The behind-the-scenes, the work and the conversations, they’re very motivating, and obviously you see what she does”
“You get inspired every day by that, so I’m thankful to have her in my life. She’s gon’ cry, by the way.”
The three-time WNBA champion expressed gratitude for Bam’s warm remarks and talked about his commitment to the sport, emphasizing the numerous hours he spends getting ready to compete at the top level.
Wilson, who currently holds the record for the most points in a single WNBA season, expressed her gratitude for being present for both the historic evening and his whole journey, including the highs and lows.
Following months of dating rumors, including pictures of the two in 2024, Adebayo, 28, and Wilson, 29, officially announced their romance in February 2025.
