Clips of Quadruple Amputee James Webber Shooting Guns Have Surface After Murder Arrest

Following his arrest for the alleged murder of Bradrick Michael Wells in Maryland, videos of quadruple amputee and professional cornhole player Dayton James Webber loading and firing firearms have gone viral. The videos, which were first shared months prior to the tragedy, depict Webber operating firearms with his residual limbs. Their dissemination has increased public discussion and scrutiny of Webber’s case, which now involves allegations of first and second-degree murder.

Early in 2024, Dayton Webber uploaded videos to his YouTube account showing him loading and discharging a handgun by using one arm to insert a magazine, supporting the gun on his leg, and using the end of his right arm to squeeze the trigger.

In other clip, he is seen wearing camouflage and an orange vest, descending a ladder into what looks to be a hunting blind with a gun strapped to his back, and firing a shot. Following his incarceration, these videos—which are now extensively circulated on the internet—came to light his proficiency with firearms in spite of his quadruple amputation.

Two witnesses were in the backseat when Webber allegedly shot 27-year-old Bradrick Michael Wells twice in the head during a fight inside his Maryland vehicle, according to the authorities. They left and phoned the police after refusing to assist in removing the body.

After Wells’s body was discovered in a yard, Webber was taken into custody at a hospital in Virginia and charged with first and second-degree murder, assault, and firearm use in a felony.

Webber, who overcame a potentially fatal infection at the age of ten months that resulted in quadruple amputation, was hailed as an inspirational figure in the American Cornhole League prior to his arrest. His television appearances focused on adaptability, tenacity, and inspiring those with disabilities to follow their dreams. In the midst of the current legal process, the revelation of handgun footage now stands in sharp contrast to his public persona, potentially affecting his legacy and sponsorship chances.
