Rapper Ice Spice posted a series of Instagram photos this week highlighting her fuller figure, jokingly comparing herself to a “birthday cake” after previously addressing speculation about her weight.
The 26-year-old Bronx artist, whose real name is Isis Gaston, shared the images from her hotel room on April 28. In them, she posed in gray panties and a nude-toned top, showcasing her curves.
Ice Spice has said she is happy with her current look. She previously slimmed down noticeably in 2024 and 2025, which sparked rumors she had used the weight-loss drug Ozempic. She denied those claims on social media, crediting gym workouts, healthy eating and the rigors of touring instead. She has also said depression played a role in some of her earlier weight loss.
In a recent caption, she wrote that she was “so happy to be thick as f**k again,” according to reports of her posts.
The photos drew positive comments from celebrity friends, including reality star Joseline Hernandez, influencer Charli D’Amelio and rapper Sexyy Red.
Ice Spice rose to fame in 2022 with her viral hit “Munch (Feelin’ U).” She has since collaborated with Nicki Minaj on “Princess Diana” and “Barbie World,” remixed Taylor Swift’s “Karma” and appeared in “The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants” with the track “Big Guy.” She has maintained a high profile, including a friendship with Swift and appearances at major events such as the Super Bowl.
The social media posts come days after Ice Spice was involved in a physical altercation outside a McDonald’s in Hollywood. Her lawyer has said she plans to pursue legal action.
Ice Spice has not publicly commented further on the photos beyond the playful caption.
