Stephen A. Smith Slams Megan Thee Stallion For Making Breakup With Klay Thompson Public

If there’s one thing Stephen A. Smith loves more than sports, it’s a good old-fashioned rant. And this time? He found his target. Enter Megan Thee Stallion, her breakup, and a microphone that stayed on way longer than necessary.

On the latest episode of Straight Shooter, Stephen A. didn’t just comment. He delivered a full 42-minute lecture. Yes, forty-two minutes about a breakup that wasn’t even his. Impressive stamina, honestly.

His main issue? Megan making her split from Klay Thompson public. According to Stephen A., relationships should be private, quiet, hidden and basically treated like a secret family recipe.

“I’m sick and tired of what’s going on in this world…I don’t know what happened in their relationship. Ain’t none of my damn business. Ain’t none of y’all’s either,” he said. “But Megan Thee Stallion made it so this Saturday night. Why? How come you couldn’t just break up and go on your merry way?”

“I would like to remind the world that Klay Thompson is not a politician. He’s a basketball player. Nobody here is sitting here acting like the man was celibate and he was the second coming of Gandhi,” he said. “The public at large did not know this man’s business at all until Saturday night.”

“Why we got to dog the brother out? Is there a wedding that I missed?” he asked. “This man is going to go down as one of the greatest shooters ever. And no matter how he lived his personal life, he didn’t bother anybody. And I’ve never seen him utter a negative word about Megan Thee Stallion.”

Smith hit on the possible reasons why Megan and Klay’s relationship didn’t last.

“You want a man dedicated to you? Be worthy of being dedicated to,” he said. “It’s very simple. You know what he likes. You know what his proclivities are. You know what’s taboo for him. You know what he doesn’t like. You know what turns him on. You know what turns him off.”

In the end, his rant says more about him than Megan. He wants privacy, the world wants content, and somehow, both sides keep feeding each other.

So here we are. A breakup turned into a 42-minute rant. A speech about not oversharing that overshared opinions.

And Megan? She’s probably still crying indoors over the breakup.
