Leanna Lenee, wife of Jacksonville Jaguars star Travis Hunter, went viral Wednesday with a tongue-in-cheek TikTok video offering a no-win guide for players’ girlfriends and wives navigating the spotlight at the 2026 NFL Draft.
In the roughly two-minute clip, Lenee, 23, ticked off a series of contradictory “rules” aimed at avoiding online criticism that she and other WAGs have faced in past drafts. The video, which quickly spread across social media including X, drew more than 150,000 views within hours.
“Don’t get in the camera because if you get in the camera too much, you are an attention whore and you want this to revolve around you,” Lenee said, according to a transcript of the video. “Also don’t avoid the cameras and sit down and try to dodge the cameras because then you don’t care about your boyfriend, or fiancé or husband.”
She continued the satirical rundown: Don’t stand up too fast, or you’re making it about yourself. Don’t stand up too slow, or you look bored. Don’t hug your player before his mother hugs him. And whatever you do, “Don’t smile too much, because if you do, they’re going to think you’re just there for the money.”
Lenee ended the clip with a blunt punchline: “And that’s all, so actually, don’t go.”

The advice appears rooted in Lenee’s own experience. She and Hunter, the two-way standout taken second overall by the Jaguars in last year’s draft, drew heavy social media scrutiny during his Heisman Trophy ceremony and draft night. Critics accused her of seeking attention; supporters called the backlash unfair and sexist.
On X, reactions to the video — amplified by NFL insider Dov Kleiman’s post — poured in quickly and were sharply mixed. Hunter replied directly to the clip, writing “U got this one” with a laughing emoji. WNBA star Angel Reese commented “IM DEAD,” followed by several laughing emojis.
Many users praised it as “speaking facts” about the impossible double standards faced by WAGs, calling the video “the ultimate WAG survival guide,” “hilarious” and “the most relatable content ever.” Others laughed along, posting that it explained “exactly why some WAGs just stay home.”
Not all responses were positive. Some critics took personal shots at Lenee, with comments ranging from “Who cares” to accusations that she was “going to bankrupt him.”
The 2026 NFL Draft opens Thursday in Pittsburgh, where dozens of prospects and their families will face the same intense camera scrutiny Lenee described. Social media has amplified every gesture — smiles, hugs, even seating choices — turning what was once a family celebration into a potential minefield for players’ partners.
Lenee’s video struck a chord with some current and former WAGs, who reposted it with laughing emojis and comments like “This is facts” and “She’s speaking from experience.” Whether her sarcastic primer will spare the next wave of draft WAGs from similar treatment remains to be seen. For now, Lenee’s message was clear: In the age of constant cameras and instant commentary, the safest play might be staying home.
