On Monday, New York Knicks supporters behaved as though they had never experienced a playoff victory. The celebration became so boisterous that former NBA player J.R. Smith fell on the ground in the middle of the mayhem.
After Madison Square Garden’s 137-98 triumph, a scene broke out as fans left. Among the joyful people was the former Knick.

Naturally, the audience was delighted to see the well-known performer, and things got off to a positive start with Smith blowing on something in his mouth and raising his hands in celebration.
However, as time passed, there was some shoving, and Smith defended himself.
“Relax, man!! Relax!!” One fan can be heard off-camera pleading with everyone to stop pressing, while Smith can be heard shouting at the throng of admirers surrounding him.
Surprisingly, as he fell, he managed to keep his joint intact. Smith might have been prepared and carried a helmet as Knicks fans are known for going crazy following significant victories.
Wednesday night is Game 2. If the home team wins 2-0, maybe everyone can remain calm.
