Drake Gifts Family A Truck For Making Videos About His Songs

Family of four posing together outdoors in front of a black SUV on a sunny day.

Drake really looked at a family making TikToks in the car and said, “You know what? Y’all deserve a luxury SUV.”

That’s the level of random generosity we’re dealing with here.

Drake flew out to upstate New York to surprise influencer NYFlavaaa and his family after their viral videos singing along to his songs blew up on the internet And this wasn’t one of those lazy celebrity pop-ins where somebody waves for 14 seconds and disappears.

No! Drake fully hopped in the backseat, started rapping along to “Janice STFU,” and basically became an honorary family member for the day.

Honestly, imagine pulling up to school expecting a normal pickup and seeing Drake sitting in the backseat like he’s your cousin visiting for the holidays.

That’s exactly what happened when NYFlavaaa’s daughter got picked up from school.

“Straight from the 6 to the 716, this man needs no introduction,” NYFlavaaa shouted from the driver’s seat. His daughter impressively nailed all of Drake’s verse on “Janice STFU” in less than a week.

Drake posted a photo with the family to his Instagram Story on Thursday (May 21). “Finally made it to see the family @nyflavaaa Picked our goat up from school And a new Escalade for the gang members cause why not,” he wrote.

NYFlavaaa was very emotional while tearing up in an IG Story. “This motherf–ker gave me an Escalade,” he said. “Thank you Jesus, thank you Drake, Chubbs — it’s love. It’s gonna be a lot of tears today.”

“Janice STFU” landed as track No. 4 on Drake’s Iceman album, which arrived on May 15 alongside Habibti and Maid of Honour. The Roget Chahayed-produced cut contains an interpolation of Lykke Li’s “I Follow Rivers,” which caught the Swedish singer off guard.

The NYFlavaaa crew built a following by simply vibing to music together in the car, singing Drake songs with enough energy to make you forget your own commute sucks. Turns out consistency really pays off, especially when it attracts a global superstar with millionaire energy.

The funniest part is Drake looked completely comfortable riding around with them like he’d been doing school pickups for years. Somewhere out there, another influencer is currently forcing their kids to memorize Drake lyrics hoping a Lamborghini appears next week.
