Justin Herbert just entered his soft-launch pop star era, and honestly, nobody saw this coming. The quarterback showed an entirely different side of himself in Madison Beer’s new “lovergirl” music video, which dropped Friday and immediately sent the internet into detective mode. Apparently, Herbert can throw touchdowns and carry a girlfriend dramatically across a beach. Multifaceted king.
The video, which clocks in at just under three and a half minutes, is basically one giant Pinterest board for attractive people in love. There’s hugging, cuddling, staring deeply into each other’s eyes like they’re auditioning for the next Nicholas Sparks movie. And yes, there’s kissing too. Lots of it.
At one point, Herbert scoops Beer up and carries her around like he just won the Super Bowl of romance.
In the past, it would’ve been fair to say Herbert in a music vid would be like a fish out of water … but to hell with that — these two are absolutely adorable in the project, and it feels like they totally forgot cameras were around.
Rumors surrounding the couple started back in the fall of 2025 … when they were spotted at, ironically enough, a music video shoot.
Beer absolutely owns the spotlight throughout the video. She looks stunning, the visuals are polished, and the chemistry between the two feels natural enough to have the internet putting on FBI jackets trying to figure out if art is imitating real life.
Either way, Herbert’s offseason is clearly going better than most people’s. The man is out here winning beachside boyfriend of the year.
