Rapper Cardi B and NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs were captured on video arguing outside a coffee shop in this Washington, D.C., suburb Wednesday afternoon.
Footage obtained by TMZ shows Cardi B gesturing animatedly and yelling at Diggs, who stood leaning against his sports car with his arms crossed. The exchange lasted at least 10 minutes. A man accompanying the Grammy-winning artist placed a hand on her in an apparent attempt to calm her down, according to the video. Security turned away fans hoping to get her autograph.
A source told TMZ they overheard Cardi B say, “That bitch is messy,” though it was unclear to whom she was referring.
It is likely she is referring to Chef Jamila Adams who keeps making videos and dropping texts about Diggs since she lost her court case.

The confrontation comes just days after the pair appeared together at the Diggs Deep Foundation Mother’s Day wellness event. Video from the celebration showed Diggs kissing Cardi B on the side of the head as they mingled with guests and interacted warmly with attendees.
Cardi B, whose legal name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, and Diggs have had an on-again, off-again relationship. The two, who share a young son born last November, reportedly split earlier this year before recent public appearances fueled reconciliation speculation. Sources indicated to TMZ following Wednesday’s incident that the couple is “off again.”
The video spread rapidly on X, drawing a mix of reactions from fans who noted the swift shift from public affection to public discord.
