Lamar Jackson was swarmed by Knicks fans while strolling around Madison Square Garden during the NBA Finals. Although Lamar Jackson has already dominated South Florida, Baltimore, and the majority of the NFL highlight reel, the Ravens quarterback provided yet another reminder this week that his fame extends well beyond the game of football.
During the NBA Finals, Jackson was surrounded by Knicks fans as he strolled through the streets of New York City, making a regular appearance close to Madison Square Garden into yet another viral moment for one of the league’s most well-known figures.
During the Knicks-Spurs Finals action, the Ravens posted a video showing Jackson moving through the throng while surrounded by fans, police, and other people. The fans were chanting, recording, and trying to get near to the two-time NFL MVP.
Jackson reportedly intended to go to Game 4 between the Knicks and Spurs, but the cost of courtside seats exceeded his budget. Jackson spent a portion of the evening interacting with fans, NYPD officers, and people gathered outside the arena as New York pursued a championship, rather than vanishing into a private room or completely ignoring the audience.
