Cardi B is making sure her Italian vacation stays interesting. The rap superstar has now been spotted enjoying a fancy dinner with Nigerian soccer goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, and of course, the internet has already grabbed its detective hats.
The two were seen dining at the luxurious Gio’s Restaurant inside the St. Regis hotel in Venice. Forget grabbing a quick slice of pizza. This was full-on luxury with a beautiful canal view, expensive food, and enough gossip to keep social media busy for days.
Cardi made sure all eyes stayed on her. She stepped out wearing a stunning plunging turquoise dress that screamed, “Yes, I’m the main character.”

Meanwhile, Maduka looked cool and relaxed as the pair sat next to each other during the dinner.
The two were seated together … with Maduka flashing a big smile as Cardi chatted with the table and showed off her long nails. We’re told there was no PDA … but they certainly seemed comfortable sharing another night out with friends.
A source tells TMZ they spotted the group while watching a fireworks show from the hotel above … and Cardi and Maduka had just gotten their food and appeared to be enjoying themselves.
Cardi and Maduka got tongues wagging earlier this month when they sat beside each other at a Paris Fashion Week event. The Nigerian goalkeeper played the gentleman by helping Cardi into her seat … prompting fans to wonder whether she had scored herself a new BF.
Maybe they’re just friends, maybe they’re getting to know each other, or maybe they simply wanted good food with an amazing view of Venice. Whatever the case, the internet has already written five different love stories before the appetizers were finished.
Until Cardi or Maduka says something, all anyone can do is speculate. But one thing is clear: Italy is serving more than pasta this week.
