The Zaire Wade legal situation just picked up another plot twist.
According to police reports, authorities say they found an unregistered firearm at the Burbank home of Dwyane Wade‘s eldest son following his recent domestic violence arrest.
Zaire appeared in a Pasadena courtroom on Thursday for his arraignment in the case. He pleaded not guilty to the felony charge against him and will continue to fight the allegations in court.
As always, a plea of not guilty means the legal process still has plenty of miles left on the road.
According to a reporter for LA Magazine in the courtroom … prosecutors told the judge cops found and confiscated an unregistered firearm after the alleged incident.
Zaire was arrested last month after cops showed up to a Burbank home after receiving a call about people yelling and stomping around the home, sparking fears that a domestic disturbance or someone in distress could be inside the home.
Cops say they found Zaire and a woman with lacerations all over her face … and they arrested him.
An emergency protection order was issued in court Thursday … requiring him to stay away from the alleged victim and surrender all his firearms.
Zaire is out on bond … a preliminary hearing in his case is set for September 24.
For now, Zaire maintains his innocence and has denied the allegations through his not guilty plea.
The courts will ultimately decide what happened and what did not.
Until then, expect plenty more headlines, countless opinions, and enough social media detectives to fill an entire police department.
