Jeremiah Smith stated he was certain he would not be leaving Ohio State this offseason, despite attempts from other schools.
This week, the great receiver for the Buckeyes said that he was offered $10 million to use the transfer portal, but he never thought about leaving Columbus. Smith stated that winning a title, growing as a player, and continuing the legacy he began in Columbus were more important considerations than money.

Smith lived up to the hype as soon as he came to Ohio State as the top recruit in the 2024 recruiting cycle. In addition to leading the Big Ten in receiving yards and touchdowns, he helped Ohio State win a National Championship. With quarterback Julian Sayin expected to return for the following season, Ohio State’s passing game could be among the best in the nation thanks to the combination of the two.
