Despite allegations of a recent disciplinary incident involving another prisoner, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ estimated release date from federal prison has been pushed ahead once more.
Combs’ release date is now set for January 24, 2028, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons website. Since he was given a 50-month prison sentence in October 2025 for sex offenses, the date has changed several times. According to reports, his initial release date of May 8, 2028, was changed due to a breach of jail regulations concerning homemade prison wine.
Later, it was rescheduled for April 25, 2028, and then it was altered once again to reflect the current January 2028 forecast. Following allegations that Combs was put in solitary confinement after an altercation at FCI Fort Dix, the most recent news was released.
According to TMZ, Combs was allegedly insulted by another prisoner, which sparked a physical altercation before staff stepped in.
Regarding the alleged altercation, an FCI Fort Dix representative declined to comment. The representative stated, “We are not at liberty to disclose or provide internal information pertaining to any inmate in our custody.” “Such information would not be available for the public domain.”
