Landry Shamet really looked at 2026 and said, “Why stop at one ring?”
Fresh off helping the Knicks win their first championship in 53 long, painful, therapist-requiring years, the sharpshooter is now making headlines for something that has absolutely nothing to do with basketball and everything to do with an expensive jewelry.
Shamet and his longtime girlfriend Cameron Aimonetti were recently spotted vacationing on Italy’s stunning Amalfi Coast, living the kind of life that makes the rest of us stare angrily at our bank accounts and leftover groceries.
The views were beautiful, the weather looked perfect, the couple looked happy, but nobody was paying attention to any of that.
Cameron showed up wearing a massive rock on her left hand that practically had its own passport and carry-on luggage.
Seriously, that thing wasn’t a ring, it was real estate.
Shamet and Aimonetti, who have been dating since at least September 2024, were not previously known to be engaged and she didn’t have the diamond on her finger after the Knicks clinched their title over the Spurs on June 13.
As the couple left the beach to board a boat, Aimonetti reportedly appeared to remove the ring from a case before putting it back onto her finger.
The duo looked to be in good spirits as they lounged on the boat and shared a kiss in one photo. Shamet also had a camera with him and took some pictures of his partner.
For now, the couple is staying quiet and enjoying their vacation while the internet writes fan fiction about wedding venues and guest lists.
But if wedding bells are coming, Shamet may need to build another shelf, because 2026 might end with him collecting rings like he’s Thanos.
