Jaylen Brown may be ready to stop shooting his shot on the basketball court and start shooting it in the dating world.
The NBA player left Donovan Mitchell and Coco Jones’ wedding feeling inspired. Not inspired to drop 40 points, not inspired to work on his jump shot but inspired to find himself a girlfriend.
Yes, love is officially in the air.
Brown attended the star-studded wedding over the weekend, and apparently the celebration did something to him. Watching Mitchell and Jones exchange vows seems to have convinced the NBA champion that he might want some of that romance for himself.
Honestly, one beautiful wedding can do that.
Jaylen Brown says going to Donovan Mitchell & Coco Jones’s wedding and seeing how in love they were inspired him to go find love himself 😭❤️

You arrive single. You eat some fancy food, and watch a gorgeous couple promise forever. Suddenly, you are staring at your phone wondering why nobody has texted you “good morning” in six months.
“If y’all got somebody for me let me know,” Brown said on his Twitch stream on Monday, Aug. 2. “Coco and Donovan … they touched me, it was great to see it … some beautiful people coming together.”
The Cleveland Cavaliers star and Grammy-winning R&B singer tied the knot on Aug. 1 in Greenwich, Connecticut. They began dating in 2023, and Mitchell proposed in 2025.
In addition to Brown, several other NBA stars were in attendance at the couple’s special day. Knicks stars Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart, Philadelphia 76ers’ Jaylen Brown, and Miami Heat’s Bam Adebayo. They were also seen slow dancing to Musiq Soulchild’s “Love,” which Brown shared on his Instagram Story at the time.
Mitchell and Jones certainly gave him something to think about. Their wedding was a celebration of two successful people finding love while living very public lives. That can be pretty inspiring.
It can also make single people look around the reception and think, “Okay, so where is mine?”
Brown’s approach is at least refreshing. He is not pretending he has everything figured out, he wants love, and he is willing to admit it.
