During a recent sit-down on ‘Stepping Into The Shade Room’, Hilson opened up about what she described as the “underworld” of dating in the sports world. She reflected on her past relationship with NBA star Serge Ibaka and explained why women should be careful when entering that glamorous world.
According to Keri, the lifestyle comes with plenty of temptation.
There is money, fame, travel, attention and access.
And, apparently, enough opportunities for bad decisions to fill an entire arena. And Keri wants women to understand that before they get too comfortable.
Her advice is simple. Do not abandon your boundaries just because someone has a famous name and a championship ring.
Honestly, that should probably be printed on a T-shirt.
Hilson’s comments were shaped by her own experience with Ibaka. The pair dated years ago and were one of those celebrity couples that kept fans watching. Their romance eventually ended, but the lessons appear to have stayed with her.
