The Slovenian news source Nedeljski Dnevnik revealed over the weekend that the Lakers roster visited “a Ljubljana restaurant that also serves as a nightclub” on Friday, which was the most recent hint of this.
According to the article, there were stringent regulations regarding the exclusive party, including the prohibition on taking pictures or recordings inside. The nightclub’s patrons were required to cover their phone cameras with stickers.
Anja Jenko, a Slovenian model and influencer, joined the Lakers roster and was seen dancing at the nightclub on her own.
Jenko, 34, is from the capital city of Slovenia, where she became well-known in 2014 after making an appearance on the cover of Playboy Magazine. She currently has more than 123,000 Instagram followers.
The Nedeljski Dnevnik article stated that the Lakers “are said to mostly hang out with each other,” so there is no evidence that Lakers star guard Luka Dončić, who hosted the team in his native Slovenia, or any other member of the team was specifically hanging out with Jenko.
The Lakers’ trip along a canal in Ljubljana, which culminated in a Dončić fan falling into the water to retrieve a T-shirt thrown by Jarred Vanderbilt, and a golf outing in the city of Bled, of which multiple players have posted pictures, are among the other off-court aspects of the trip that have already been made public.
Luka has been fighting with his ex-fiancée over child support. She wants $50 million.
