Lamar Jackson is apparently done listening to the doubters.
The Baltimore Ravens quarterback is heading into the new season with something to prove after an injury-plagued 2025 campaign limited him to a career-low 67 rushing attempts.
For a quarterback whose legs have caused defensive coordinators nightmares for years, that number was almost shocking.

Sixty-seven carries? That is not Lamar Jackson.
Jackson made it clear during a conversation with ESPN’s Jamison Hensley during a Wednesday press conference with reporters that he will do “whatever it takes to win.”
“I believe you know, I know, a lot of people know, I was hurt last year too. I really couldn’t do anything I wanted to, so it really wouldn’t put my team in a good position if I was just running hurt, losing yards, things like that was happening. But whatever it takes to win, that’s what I’m all about. And I’ve always been about that too.”
Hensley then asked Jackson if his thought his running attempts in 2026 would be more in line with seasons prior to 2025.
“Whatever it takes to win,” Jackson replied.
The Ravens star has made it clear that he plans to do whatever it takes to win. That attitude should make Baltimore fans very happy.
It should also make opposing defenses very nervous.
The Ravens need that ability. They also need the version of Jackson who can stay on the field when December arrives and every game starts feeling like a playoff game.
After last year’s injuries, Jackson has another opportunity to remind everyone why he remains one of the NFL’s most dangerous quarterbacks.
The doubters will be watching, the defenders will be watching and the fantasy football managers will definitely be watching.
And Jackson? He sounds ready!
