Steve Keim has opened up on his relationship with Mohamed Coulibaly and insists he is a victim.
As we previously reported, after Coulibaly’s family requested a welfare check, police discovered his dead in a domestic pool in New Jersey. The issue is being looked into right now.
Coulibaly was accused of pursuing former NFL players for investments in fraudulent e-commerce companies before to his passing, however he partially refuted the accusations.
According to the original Barron’s story, Keim was once identified as the company’s chief operation/growth officer with a hands-on role, and Coulibaly’s Motion Ventures allegedly added fictitious sales to the web stores to make them appear more successful.
Keim admitted to ESPN that he did, in fact, work for Coulibaly without receiving a compensation. After being persuaded that the business was legitimate, he alerted friends and family about the investment possibility, including Seattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider.
According to Keim, he lost over a million dollars on his own investment, and the company utilized his name to gain legitimacy.
