Coco Jones may be a successful singer with a lot of fans, but apparently, there is still one audience member who can make her nervous. Her husband, Donovan Mitchell.
Coco recently shared a sweet video of herself and the NBA star relaxing by the pool. It looked like a peaceful little getaway. Cozy, water, music and romance.
Then Coco revealed the plot twist. She still gets nervous playing new songs for Donovan.
Yes, the woman who can confidently perform in front of huge crowds apparently gets butterflies when her husband hears something new.
Marriage really is humbling.
In the video, Coco is seen enjoying some poolside time with Mitchell. She sings along to a song playing in the background while the couple relaxes together.

The mood is calm, the setting is beautiful, nobody appears to be worried about defensive rotations, album deadlines or anything remotely stressful.
Then the clip ends with the newlyweds sharing a sweet kiss.

Coco explained that she gets nervous when playing new songs for Donovan. That is actually pretty relatable. Having millions of people hear your music is one thing, having the person you love hear it first is a completely different level of pressure.
Suddenly, that casual “It sounds good” becomes the most important review of the year.
And Mitchell is not exactly just some random man listening in the passenger seat. He is her husband. That means his reaction probably carries a little extra weight.
Still, the couple looked completely comfortable together.
