Denver Broncos cheerleader Ann-Marie Muscarello has gone viral after revealing that she also works as an orthopedic nurse. Yes, an orthopedic nurse. Apparently cheering on football players is not enough work for one week. She needs a second job too.
Muscarello’s story has sparked a bigger conversation about how much NFL cheerleaders actually make. Fans are now questioning why people who represent some of the biggest sports organizations in America often need other careers to pay the bills. And honestly, it is a fair question.
NFL players are making millions, coaches are making millions and executives are doing just fine.
Meanwhile, some cheerleaders are apparently doing a full shift at the hospital before showing up at the stadium to smile, dance and perform under bright lights. That is quite the doubleheader.

Last week, Ann-Marie Muscarello shared a video on social media that detailed her life on the weekend vs. life during the week. Off the NFL field, she is an ortho nurse similar to many professional cheerleaders who work in healthcare.
“Sunday mornings vs. Monday mornings look a little different 👩🏽⚕️📣✨☕️,” she wrote on Instagram.
Some fans took to the comments admiring Muscarello and pitching for higher pay for NFL cheerleaders.
“a nurse and NFL cheerleader? damn girl u killing it,” a user wrote on TikTok.
“With the money the NFL makes, they should pay you more,” another chimed in.
“How do you keep up with it all?!” a third said.
“That’s sad.They should pay these cheerleaders enough money they work hard too,” another user added.

Muscarello’s situation is a reminder that being part of an NFL organization does not automatically mean someone is financially set for life. Some cheerleaders have demanding jobs outside the stadium.
And that has left plenty of fans asking a simple question.
If the NFL is a billion-dollar business, why are some of its cheerleaders working another full-time job?
Nobody is saying cheerleaders should suddenly receive quarterback money, but maybe they should not need a second career just to make the first one work.
For now, Muscarello is proving she can handle both worlds.
