Hailey Van Lith knows how to make an entrance.
The Connecticut Sun guard recently brought her fashion game to the 2026 US Open. And she made sure her 1.3 million Instagram followers got to see it.
Van Lith shared a photo dump from the Grand Slam tournament. There were tennis courts, stylish outfits, and plenty of good vibes. Apparently, watching tennis is not enough. You also have to look like you accidentally walked onto a fashion shoot.
Van Lith showed off her style in a crop top. The look was casual, confident, and very much on brand for the basketball star.
She has never been shy about fashion. The US Open was no different.
Then came the Honey Deuce. For anyone unfamiliar, the Honey Deuce is basically the unofficial celebrity of US Open drinks. It has become a signature part of the tournament experience.
Van Lith apparently understood the assignment.
She was spotted enjoying the cocktail while taking in the tennis action.
Van Lith was rocking a fit from the New York City lifestyle brand Kith.
She captioned the photos, “Honey deuce extra honey pleaseee,” while showing off her souvenir cup and the flexing her abs off the court.
Van Lith began the year as a member of the Chicago Sky, but was waived before the season on May 4. Two days later, she was claimed by the Sun.
This season, Van Lith has seen limited action in 19 games with Connecticut, averaging 5.5 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 15.2 minutes per game. When the Sun return to the court after the FIBA World Cup break, they will head to Atlanta to face Angel Reese and the Dream on Thursday, September 17.
Van Lith may be a basketball player, but she clearly knows how to handle a crossover. This time, however, the crossover was from the basketball court to the tennis stands, and she did it in style.
The 2026 US Open had plenty of tennis stars fighting for Grand Slam glory, but Van Lith was busy winning the Instagram game.
