OnlyFans model and self-described Michigan football superfan Mia Sorety is calling for the return of former Wolverines coach Sherrone Moore after the program’s sloppy, controversial season-opening win under new coach Kyle Whittingham.
In an Instagram carousel posted to her account, Sorety wrote, “Bring the old coach back,” adding a winking emoji and the Michigan block-M. She tagged the post with #michigan and #football. Additional lines in the caption referred to new lighting in the photos and said she “had to blur out some toys.”
The post landed days after No. 16 Michigan escaped Western Michigan 13-12 on a last-second Hail Mary in Whittingham’s debut — a game the Wolverines entered as roughly 27½-point favorites and nearly lost in a manner that evoked the program’s 2007 upset to Appalachian State.
Sorety’s plea is not coming from an ordinary fan account. She has spent years mixing Michigan merch, Big House photos and “Go Blue” captions with fitness and adult-subscription content, and she became a national sidebar to Moore’s firing last December.

Michigan opened the 2026 season at Michigan Stadium on Sept. 5 and needed a replay ruling and a second Hail Mary to beat a Mid-American Conference opponent. Quarterback Bryce Underwood’s first desperation throw sailed out of the end zone as the clock appeared to hit zero. Officials restored one second after review. Underwood then hit JJ Buchanan for a 47-yard touchdown as time expired.
Sorety is a Texas-based fitness influencer and adult-content creator with a large Instagram following. She has publicly presented herself as a Wolverines fan for years, including posts from Michigan Stadium.
When Moore was fired, she wrote on X that she “wasn’t surprised he was all in my DMs trying to risk it all with an OF model.” She also said Moore messaged her during Michigan games, including at halftime of the November 2025 loss to Ohio State. Sports outlets reported that Moore followed her account and that she said their Instagram exchanges stretched over a long period.
A subsequent BSO report, citing messages attributed to her, said Moore offered season tickets to Sorety and two other creators in exchange for a foursome after Michigan’s 2024 national championship game in Houston. Sorety quickly walked that version back. She said the tickets-for-sex story was “false,” that she had not posted it, and that any such communication came from a former assistant. In a TMZ interview she said Moore did not offer tickets for sex, described their messages as “friendly” and “never sexual,” and said she believed social media users or an ex-assistant planted the more extreme rumor.
She did not deny contact. She has said Moore offered more than once to fly her first class to games, told her he wanted to meet and hug her, invited her to a Houston hotel after the title game for what she characterized as nonsexual “after game fun,” and later messaged her after his release from jail. According to screenshots she and others circulated, he accused her of attacking him as the scandal exploded. She said she was not the one who broke the story.
