Lil Wayne apparently decided that being a rap legend was not enough. Now, he is adding fiancé to the résumé.
The 44-year-old rapper has revealed that he is engaged to his 23-year-old ex-girlfriend, Madi Cannon. Yes, you read that correctly. Ex-girlfriend.

Apparently, sometimes “ex” is just a temporary job title.
“Congratulations, bitch,” Wayne (born Dwayne Michael Carter Jr.) said, referring to B.G.’s engagement to his girlfriend, Brooke Jones.
He then angled the camera toward Cannon and said, “And I’m marrying this one. This is Madison.”
After Cannon congratulated B.G. (born Christopher Noel Dorsey), Wayne added, “This is my fiancée. Congratulations. Let us know what color we’re wearing. I’m the best man, you hear me? Love you, bitch.”
B.G., 46, captioned the post, “My lil Brodie gave me his blessings,” tagging Wayne’s Instagram account, @liltunechi.
The age difference will obviously be one of the biggest talking points. Wayne is 44, while Cannon is 23. That is a 21-year difference.
For the couple, however, age apparently is not stopping the relationship from moving forward.
And let’s be honest, celebrity romance has never exactly followed the employee handbook.
One day, two people are spotted together, the next day, they are “just friends.” Then someone posts a suspicious ring emoji. Suddenly, everybody is planning the wedding before the couple has even confirmed they are dating.
Wayne and Cannon have now skipped several chapters.
The interesting part is that Cannon is not just a random new name in Wayne’s love life. She is his former girlfriend, so this reunion has a little more history behind it.
Getting back together with an ex can go one of two ways. You either realize the first breakup happened for a reason, or you discover that maybe the timing was the real problem.
Wayne and Cannon appear to be betting on the second option.
Now comes the fun part: wedding plans!
