John Calipari has one of the best freshmen classes of all-time in Lexington this year. That may sound like a bold statement but they have the number one player at three different positions and six McDonald’s All-Americans.
Willie Cauley-Stein on the other hand is a returning sophomore, he was ranked the #11 center out of high school but has sustained a right hand injury. He’s expected to miss 10-14 days, which means he’ll be ready to go for Big Blue Madness on October 18th.
Considering all the depth Kentucky possesses, missing a player or two due to injury won’t be hard to replace.
