Caitlin Clark, who was selected first overall in the WNBA draft, is causing quite a stir in Indiana, both on and off the court. During a recent picture session with her Indiana Fever colleagues, Clark had an unforeseen and touching moment of friendship.
Two of Clark’s teammates, Erica Wheeler and NaLyssa Smith, offered her their chains to wear as a sign of friendship during the shoot. A behind-the-scenes video that was uploaded on X showed the happy and lighthearted environment as Clark wore the No. 1 and 17 chains. He even made a joke about biting into Smith’s jewelry.
The Fever released a video showing the players’ sincere friendship developing, and Clark’s contagious smile brightened the moment.
Along with images of their time together and laughing emojis, Smith and Wheeler each reshared the video on their Instagram Stories. The incident amused even Connor McCaffery, Clark’s boyfriend, who posted it to his Stories.
