At the Cannes Film Festival, Demi Moore displays her stylish side. The 63-year-old American actress attended a screening of the French love comedy La Vie D’Une Femme wearing a violet, strapless gown.
Stars like Ruth Negga and Gillian Anderson joined her on the red carpet. Demi last attended Cannes in 2024 to promote the movie The Substance, for which she was awarded a Golden Globe for Best Actress.
Demi won Glamour’s Woman of the Year a few months ago, capping off an incredible career return.
Margaret Qualley, her co-star in Substance, interviewed her for the magazine, and she stated:
“With everything I’ve been through, which has been a lot, I wouldn’t trade where I am today.”
The “freedom to know I don’t have to have the answer, and life is not going to be completely stolen from me if I somehow don’t know,” she continued, is what separates her from her younger self.
Demi talked about experiencing a “low point” and not feeling “enough” during her moving Golden Globes winning speech last year.
The actress has had numerous traumas and rejections throughout her life, such as her biological father abandoning her before she was born, saving her drug-addicted mother from suicide, two stays in rehab, and being sexually assaulted when she was fifteen.
