This is according to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen.
Let me say this about Andy Reid, I would never trust him in a poker game or as a stock broker.
Either he is the best liar of all time or he is extremely wishy washy, I don’t know if either is a good thing.
If I was Kevin Kolb I would be extremely upset. He has been told from day one he would be the undisputed starter and he wouldn’t have to look over his shoulder.
He was told he would be the Eagles starting quarterback for the next 10 years.
He was told no matter how Michael Vick played, if he was healthy he would start.
Kevin Kolb just learned a hard lesson, never trust anyone.
As for Vick, he gets what he wants, so just don’t screw it up.
*UPDATE*
Andy Reid spoke at a press conference to confirm that Michael Vick is the permanent (for now) starting quarterback and the switch had nothing to do with Kevin Kolb’s healthy.
He claims the entire was decision was his and his alone.
Michael Vick has the keys to the Caddy, don’t crash it young man.
