Say what you want about Jason Kidd, but it seems his power play with the Nets may have been more about just finding a shrewd way out, and less about being disloyal to Billy King.
Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is reporting that the Milwaukee Bucks ownership had discussions about their head coaching position on Friday, the day after the NBA Draft in New York City.
According to the report, Kidd has only been offered the Bucks head coaching job, and not any front office or executive position.
League source indicates Bucks only offering Jason Kidd a coaching job, not a front-office position.

Bucks GM John Hammond and assistant GM David Morway not in jeopardy and no one interviewed for their positions, source said.

If there was a failed power play towards Nets brasss and Billy King, Kidd has reportedly not tried the same with the Bucks at this time. Its starting to sound more like Kidd saw the writing on the wall from a talent standpoint with the Nets and did whatever he could to get himself an out.
Kidd went to Mikhail Prokhorov knowing full and well that his request for more power would be shot down. Kidd essentially sabotaged himself to land a job with a roster that suddenly has loads of potential with the arrival of Jabari Parker.
