Miami Heat All star PF Chris Bosh was admitted to a local Miami hospital yesterday under the advice of team physician. Now after on-going test, Miami fears that Bosh has blood clots in his lungs. This would cause Bosh to miss the rest of the season. This has to be a very scary situation for Bosh and his family. Portland Trailblazers great Jerome Kersey past two days ago from a blood clot.
Bosh was admitted to a Miami-area hospital Thursday after meeting with a doctor. The Heat’s power forward underwent initial tests that proved inconclusive, according to the Heat. The fear is that Bosh could have blood clots on his lungs. If there is a pulmonary embolus, or multiple clots, then Bosh would be out for the remainder of the season, and possibly longer, while being treated with blood thinners for pulmonary embolism.
Miami completed a trade deadline deal yesterday for PG Goran Dragic. Were looking to make a push to secure one of the Eastern Conference playoff spots. Bosh had taken on an increased role this season after Lebron departure. Hopefully Bosh can make a full and speedy recovery.
