Happy Gilmore is arguably Adam Sandler’s finest movie, and compared to the drivel he’s put out the last decade or so, it’s a downright cinematic masterpiece. One of the reasons why the film is so endearing has a lot to do with a well choreographed fight scene involving former Price is Right host Bob Barker and the titular character at a Pro-Am tournament. If you haven’t seen the film, or the fight scene I’m referring to, I highly suggest doing so, as it is fairly impressive to watch a then 72-year-old Barker destroy the much younger Sandler, even if it’s only pretend.
The two teamed up Comedy Central’s Night of Too Many Stars, an event which helps raise money for programs, schools, and services for people with autism, and, as unbelievable as this may sound, this time around the brouhaha brings even more hilarity.
FYI—Bob Barker is 91-years-old now, and I still wouldn’t want to mess with him. Dude will flat out spay or neuter your ass.
