Patrick Mahomes is headed toward greatness, but Tom Brady is the ultimate quarterback. Ten Super Bowls, five MVPs, and twenty-one Pro Bowls between them. Together, they have won five time passing yards records and eight MVP awards in Super Bowls. However, they are still rather underappreciated in one particular category.
Mahomes and Brady are tied with eight players and trail nine others in terms of First-Team All-Pro honors, having each earned three, along with six other players. Tom played for more over 20 years, yet he was only an All-Pro three times. In just seven years, Patrick has already succeeded in doing that three times.
All he has to do is keep going if he hopes to catch Peyton Manning.
Since 2000, Manning has been the quarterback with the most All-Team All-Pro selections (7), according to NFL on CBS. This is not surprising, given the Sheriff dominated the regular season more than any other player. He is now third all-time in passing yards with 71, 940, only behind Tom and Brees. Along with having the most seasons with at least 4,000 passing yards, which is 14, he also holds the record for the most NFL MVPs, with five. His 5,477 yards in 2013 remain the record for most yards in a single season. He also set an NFL record that season with 55 touchdown passes.

The Chiefs great and Hall of Fame tight end Tony Gonzalez, the former 49ers great and Hall of Fame wideout Terrell Owens, and Tyreek Hill, each with five honors, are next on the list of players who have made the most All-Pro selections at talented offensive positions (TEs, WRs, and RBs). But Hill received one of those picks because he could return kicks. Four First All-Pro choices have been made by five offensive players: Aaron Rodgers, Adrian Peterson, Travis Kelce, Adrian Brown, and Gronk.
While many acknowledged Manning’s skill during the regular season, many were confused to see Brady, Mahomes with Chiefs, and other prominent players miss out. Supporters perceived some prejudice in these choices.
