We can assume that the Colts have his replacement in place, because Cherilus was a big-ticket signing a few years back.

The Colts made Cherlius the NFL’s highest-paid right tackle in 2013 by giving him a five-year, $35 million deal containing $16.5 million in guarantees. Cherilus helped man the right side of the line opposite his college teammate, Anthony Castonzo.
Last year’s season with the Colts was injury plagued for Cherilus and he was eventually placed on injured reserve.
