After a back and forth between the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the family of late player and 2015 inductee Junior Seau, the family now refutes claims that they support the HOF’s decision on speeches. While the family does not agree that they can’t speak at the ceremony, they have decided to not cause a scene.
The Seau family sued the NFL after the loss of Seau revealed brain damage sustained from the NFL.
The Seau family has issued a statement refuting the Hall of Fame’s claim that the family supports the Hall’s policy on induction speeches.
