Reports were coming out that Vince McMahon was upset over all the blood during the Brock Lesnar vs Undertaker match at Hell in a Cell, but now this is being refuted. Vince McMahon didn’t love the blood but that wasn’t what had him upset. According to PWInsider Vince was reportedly upset that when the Dr was sent in to the ring to help clean the wounds up Brock Lesnar legit pushed him away.
Of course those that watched the match remember that this was after the Dr had already gone in twice to clean up Lesnar and Undertaker respectively. So you can understand from a pacing perspective that after two visits from the Dr it had already slowed the momentum of the match and the third time must have gotten on on the nerves of the Beast Incarnate. Brock Lesnar pushed the Dr out of the way and continued the match attacking Undertaker which is what Vince was upset about.
Some may still be wondering if this is the real reason for Vince being mad and if you watch the replay of the match you can tell that when Lesnar pushes the Dr away that there is a weird little camera cut as if someone, IE McMahon, wanted that not to be seen on TV. So it does make some sense that the WWE doesn’t want to show their Dr being manhandled. As for the blood, there is no confirmation that Lesnar bladed his cut but since he had to receive nine staples for his injury that usually means it was done the hard way.
