Thanksgiving Day football is something we all look forward to. Family, food and football are all my holiday consist of. Every year for as long as I can remember the Dallas Cowboys have been apart of the Thanksgiving Day national broadcast and next season will be no different. According to BleacherReport, the Cowboys will likely face one of their division foes.
Richard Deitsch, Sports Illustrated reporter, thinks it is likely we will see a rematch of the 2012 Thanksgiving Day game making the Washington Redskins the opponent. On that day the Redskins won a 38-31 shootout led by Robert Griffin III.
Thanksgiving Day games are always entertaining but a big rivalry game always makes it better. Also with it being rumored that Griffin will be released by Redskins and having Dallas as a possible landing spot would add even more fuel to the fire.
