On Friday at WonderCon Los Angeles Megan Fox (April O’Neill) and Stephen Amell (Casey Jones), co-stars of the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle:Out of the Shadows, took a few minutes to dish on their favorite parts of filming and what fans should expect when the latest installment of the popular franchise hits theaters on June 3rd.
“The boys that play the turtles are really talented and really funny and I love them a lot. I had a really good time with them,” says Fox. Filming in the studio with just the animation is another story. “Filming with no actors is like bonding with air, or laughing at a joke no one told you, you feel stupid, but it gets easier.”
Amell, who is jumping between Las Vegas and Los Angeles to film “Arrow,” says filming in New York City was a plus since the City has it’s own energy and heartbeat that provided the perfect back drop for the film.
“The film has a lot of action, a lot of laughs, some heart and a bit of romance,” said Amell. “Fans should expect to see what’s made the other films in the Turtle genre so popular.”
