How can we talk about the MLB All-Star game and the Canadian national anthem?
Well, let’s just blurt out ‘All Lives Matter’ during the Canadian national anthem.
How many times do we have to explain what ‘Black Lives Matter’ mean to the ‘All Lives Matter’ crew?
Yes, all lives SHOULD matter but it’s clear the world hasn’t treated everyone’s life equally. Just read a world history book and you get it all right there. You can also go on Twitter and search #AllLivesDidntMatter, you’ll get the point.
All lives matter sounds inclusive but that’s not the point. The people who use this are just trying to bring silence to #BlackLivesMatter the movement.
Earlier today, J.Lo caught herself in the middle of this firestorm and now a Canadian singing group called The Tenors caused quite a stir among their Canadian fellows.
At the MLB All-Star game, they sang the Canadian national anthem and changed the lyrics.

The AP reports they changed their lyrics to this.
“We’re all brothers and sisters. All lives matter to the great.” The normal lyric is “With glowing hearts we see thee rise. The True North strong and free.”
“United We Stand” was written on the back of the quartet’s sign.
Many Canadians were not happy about the changing of lyrics and some weren’t happy with the message.
The Canadian national anthem finds it’s way in the news for something ridiculous once again. Nelly Furtado can relax now.
