Austin Harrouff, the Florida State University student that was found by authorities biting off the face of a man he stabbed, was also a Donald Trump supporter.
According to the The Palm Beach Post, Harrouff’s mother Mina Harrouff called 911 to report her son missing after he stormed out of a restaurant during a family dinner. Over the course of the meal Harrouff reportedly told his mother that he was “immortal” and a “superhero on a mission to save people.” During the 911 call, Ms. Harrouff told police Harrouff was wearing
white shorts, a blue polo shirt and a red “Make America Great Again” hat from the Trump 2016 campaign. She told the dispatcher he believed he was carrying a pocket knife, but, “I think that is all he has on him.”
Prior to the killings Harrouff was having dinner with his family at a local Jupiter, FL restaurant before reportedly acting erratic and storming out of the restaurant. Harrouff is accused of the stabbing deaths of John Stevens, 59, and his wife, 53-year-old Michelle Mishcon. Still awaiting toxicology reports, authorities believe Harrouff was under the influence of the drug Flakka.
