The Warriors beat the Wizards Sunday night 139-115. The game was well in hand in the closing seconds when Warriors center JaVale McGee took a three. That didn’t sit well with Wizards guard Brandon Jennings and he shoved McGee during his shooting motion drawing a flagrant foul. The players from both teams then engaged in a heated discussion on the floor. After the game Jennings said he’s “old school” and thought what the Warriors were doing was disrespectful. What is happening in sports?
Are the Wizards really mad at the Warriors for running up the score? When did the NBA get so MLB like with “unwritten rules”? The shot clock was going to expire and McGee shot a three, what’s the big deal? If you’re Jennings, are you seriously mad at that? You guys just got beat down, it happens. Play better next time. Take a look at the video courtesy of CSN.
Take a look at Jennings full postgame comments about the incident below. He talks about the Warriors trying to get Draymond a triple double, and how he’s ready to scrap if needed.
The Wizards are all in their feelings after getting beat by the Warriors. Flip the page to hear Bradley Beal talking about breaking the “golden rule.” Didn’t know hoops had a golden rule…
