Remember when Cam Newton was Dabbing & Hitting Dem Folks, on the Tennessee Titans? Well, Jordan Jenkins was feeling the same way the Titans were two years ago as Cam showed them up.
In a route the Oakland Raiders took at 35-13 lead and ultimately won the game 45-20.
The stadium was jumping after Jalen Richard took one to the house for 52-yards giving the Raiders a 22-point lead.
In his first home game, the native Lynch was seen on the sideline dancing and amping up the crowd, when the crowd saw that, the stadium ramped it up.
Jets’ linebacker Jordan Jenkins wasn’t feeling it, at all.
“That irks my ever-living nerves. I was out on the field on kickoff return [at that moment], and I saw that happen, and it just was infuriating. I wanted them to kick the ball short, so I could get some more contact. That pisses me off. I’m an old-school guy. I don’t like when things like that happen. That was embarrassing, losing like that, and to have Marshawn dancing like that. Seeing that happen, that should infuriate the whole [Jets] team. It should infuriate everybody. And we should have to have a good response coming into next Sunday.”
Other players felt some type of way, nose tackle Steve McLendon said,
“We’re upset because it seems like he was rubbing it in our face, But he’s winning, man. He can do whatever he wants to do.
Linebacker Darron Lee added,
“It’s their house — they can do whatever they wants — but as a competitor, as a defender, you don’t like to see that type of stuff. It’s demoralizing, but we have to bow up and keep fighting.”
Don’t take it personal. If Jalen Richard doesn’t run for a 50+ yard touch down, Lynch isn’t dancing nor is the crowd cheering.
Lynch doesn’t have much to say but added it felt good to get the crowd going.
