When a University invites a guest to speak to the graduating class, the message is generally filled with advice, life lessons, hope, encouragement and sometimes a dash of humor.
Chance the Rapper, however, decided to mix in a Beyoncè hot take.
Speaking to the graduating class of Dillard University on Saturday, Chance encouraged the graduates telling them to be better than those who proceeded them and used Beyoncé to hammer home the point.
During the commencement, Chance told the graduates that Beyoncé’s performance was better than any performance Michael Jackson did in his career.
Needless to say Twitter had some hot takes of their own to Chance’s statement.
