Judge Genece Brinkley is adamant about putting Meek Mill behind bars. After the Pennsylvania Supreme Court gave her the opportunity to recuse herself from the case, she refused, which sent the media in a frenzy over her alleged personal vendetta against Meek Mill on behalf of a friend. Prosecutors filed documents yesterday saying that Meek deserves another trial, with another judge. Unfortunately for Meek, another judge has ruled this morning that he could not overrule another judge of equal standing saying, “I wear the same robe as she does.”
Judge Brinkley’s also denied the District Attorney’s request to dismiss the testimony of corrupt arresting officer Reginald Graham. The DA even suggested Meek be free until the new trial because of these circumstances, and she still disagreed, sending him to jail without bail for 60 days.
After several attempts, appeals, accusations, comparisons, Meek Mill will not have another day in court or another judge and could be facing 2 to 4 years in prison.
